Jesus Feeds 5,000 People

John 6:1-14

A boy shares his small lunch, and Jesus uses it to feed a huge crowd.

A Big Crowd

A huge crowd followed Jesus to hear him teach and to see him heal sick people. There were 5,000 men, plus women and children!

Hungry People

It got late, and everyone was hungry. Jesus asked his friend Philip, "Where can we buy bread for all these people?" Philip said, "Even lots of money would not be enough!"

A Boy's Lunch

Andrew found a boy who had five small loaves of bread and two fish. "But what good is that for so many?" he asked.

Jesus Gives Thanks

Jesus told everyone to sit on the green grass. He took the bread and fish, thanked God, and began to share it.

Enough for Everyone!

Everyone ate as much as they wanted. There was enough for everyone!

Twelve Baskets

Afterward, the disciples gathered the leftovers. They filled twelve baskets! Everyone knew Jesus was someone very special.

When we give what we have to Jesus, even if it is small, he can do amazing things with it!
