Jesus Is Alive!

Luke 23-24; John 20

Jesus died on the cross, but on the third day God raised him back to life!

Jesus Loves Everyone

Jesus taught people about God's love. He healed sick people and was kind to everyone, even people others ignored.

A Very Sad Day

Some leaders did not like Jesus. They had him put on a cross, and he died. Jesus' friends were very, very sad. But Jesus did this because he loves us, to take away our sins.

In the Tomb

Jesus' friends put his body in a tomb, a cave cut into rock. A huge stone was rolled in front of the door.

The Stone Is Gone!

Early on Sunday morning, some women went to the tomb. The stone had been rolled away, and the tomb was empty!

He Is Risen!

Angels said, "Why are you looking for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen!"

Jesus Is Alive!

Then Jesus appeared to his friends! They saw him, talked with him, and even ate with him. Jesus was alive! They were so happy, and they told everyone.

“He is not here; he has risen!”
Luke 24:6

Jesus died for us and came back to life. Because Jesus is alive, we can be friends with God forever!
